Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing Organization is looking for people to evaluate our prototype products in their home or office. These evaluations are performed with your computer along with an imaging and printing device or software that is supplied by Hewlett-Packard.

Testing involves two different programs: Beta & Delta. The following is a brief description of these programs.

Beta Test Program
Beta test programs provide Hewlett-Packard the opportunity to see and experience how our products perform in a customer's environment. Beta products are functional, but the products are still in the design phase. Beta programs offer us a chance to interact with customers, gaining insight on their needs and behaviors in the use of our products.

Delta Test Program
Delta test programs provide Hewlett-Packard the opportunity to validate a product's design in a customer's environment. Delta focuses on the overall experience, from installation, to day-to-day use, to support and service. The idea is to identify and address customer issues and concerns before the product is introduced. Delta programs are held just prior to our products becoming available for purchase.

Only you can tell us how we can help unlock your potential through our products and services. Get involved in the product development process and help us understand your needs by signing up to participate in one of our Usability Research studies. See if you would be interested in signing up!

As a token of our appreciation, individuals who participate in Microsoft product evaluations are offered their choice of a gift from our extensive gratuity list. These selections include Microsoft software products and Microsoft Press titles in addition to a selection of gift certificates for our non-computer using participants.

Play games, give opinions, get free software! Come to Microsoft, play games, give your opinion – and we’ll give you free software. We want EVERYONE – not just hardcore players!

Whether you play once a year or every day, whether you’re 6 years old or 60, whether you pre-order the latest consoles or wouldn’t think of paying for a game – we want feedback from you! Take a few minutes to tell us what you like to play, and we’ll match you to upcoming studies.

You'd be helping us to improve Google products, both existing ones and those that are still in development. For example, we might ask you to try out a prototype and give us feedback on it, or we might interview you to help us plan a new product.

Pay – it depends on the type of study, but typically we pay $75 for each hour that you spend with a Google researcher, either in person or on the phone. Most studies last for one to one-and-a-half hours. We don't pay for your travel time, or travel expenses, though. For online surveys, which you complete from your own computer, the amount varies, depending on the length of the survey.

Centercode (Open world wide)
OnlineBeta offers you a chance to participate in beta tests of unreleased products of all types. Our members have beta tested products from Logitech, Dell, HP, TomTom, T-Mobile, Polycom, Apple, Midway, Yahoo!, and many other large and small companies. Beta testing is the managed distribution of a product to its target market; the gathering of feedback from that market; the evaluation of the feedback into manageable forms; and the integration of the data into the various organizations it affects.

Welcome! We're looking for individuals around the world who are interested in beta testing new products. You don't need any specific experience to become a beta tester, you can be any age, and live anywhere in the world. You'll just need a little patience and an understanding that the products you're using are not quite yet complete, but the companies creating them are counting on you to help get them there. The products we test range from household items to video games to enterprise class hardware. We'll invite you to apply for any beta test which we think you'll enjoy, but the choice is up to you. We just ask that if you do apply, that you be honest and thorough with your participation. In joining Onlinebeta.com, we ask you to provide us with a lot of information about you and the things you own, as this helps us find the right testers for each specific product. We ask that you be honest and patient. Signing up takes about 10 minutes to 15 minutes.

Hello. This is Rebecca Kochenderfer from Homeschool.com. Thank you for your interest in becoming a Product Tester for Homeschool.com.  Testers are selected randomly, based on geography, age of children, etc. Not every family will be selected. The Product Tester program is very win-win. Homeschoolers receive free products. Homeschooled kids get to know that their opinion counts. Parents like it that the kids have to write up the reviews. And educational companies get feedback on their products.

Here’s how it works:
I send you an email telling you that a company has contacted us and telling you what type of product testers they are looking for – grade level, age range, etc.

I tell you who to contact at that company and you take it from there.

You test their products and you give the company your feedback.

It’s that simple!

Most of the products we are asked to test are online versions of a company’s curriculum or product. This is because they can get far more testers for a free online version than they can by mailing out physical product that costs them money. But being a Homeschool.com Product Tester is about more than just receiving free products. Product Testers are the heart of Homeschool.com. It’s the Product Testers who select the Top 100 Educational Websites of the year. It’s the Product Testers who helped me write our new book, “Homeschooling and Loving It!”  Whenever we have a new Homeschool.com product or feature I send it to our Product Testers for their feedback and suggestion, before we release it to the public. I have a special relationship with Homeschool.com Product Testers that I deeply value and appreciate.
